KEY FEATURES

Highly Resisitant

Highly resistant to chemicals

Specially treated EB cured layer makes Chem+ resistant to all kinds of chemicals.

High Abraison

High Abrasion Resistance

Chem+ products have a high resistance to abrasion, which allows for their use in all kinds of applications on surfaces that hold tools, glassware and other laboratory equipment.

Low Maintenance

Low maintenance

Laminates are generally easy to care for, and with the exceptional properties of CHEM+ laminates, maintenance & care becomes even easier.

Durable

Highly Durable

With superior chemical and physical properties, Chem+ products are highly durable and recommended for areas that involve working, storing and disposing of chemicals.

Scratch Resistant

SCRATCH RESISTANT

Chem+ performance laminates and compact panel have higher scratch resistance than other products and laminates in the market.

  • Introduction

Chemical Resistant Laminates are processed by environment-friendly technology of electron beam curing.

Highly Functional Décor paper and Kraft paper are treated with modified Melamine/Phenol Formaldehyde resin to manufacture high chemical resistant surface. These surfaces provide additional protection in a chemically vulnerable environment.

Merino’s Chem+ is resistant to various chemicals such as acids, alkalis, corrosive salts, and other staining compounds while maintaining their aesthetic appeal. It can be applied on sinks, counters, lab benches, work surfaces, pathogen labs, photographic labs, nursing stations, cabinets, casework fronts and wall panels.

  • Composition

    • Grade HGS/CGS
    • EB cured top surface for exceptional protection against chemicals.

    EB cured Decor later:

Special grade, Electron Beam Cured Decor paper that has been impregnated with modified Melamine Formaldehyde resin to impart extra protection against harsh chemicals.

    Kraft paper layer:

Phenol Formaldehyde resin is used to impregnate high grade Kraft paper, which allows for high impact resistance and performance in chemical environments.

  • Advantages

    • Infused with unrivalled chemical and physical traits, Chem+ surfaces are extremely long-lasting and ideal for locations where chemicals are handled, stored, and disposed of.
    • Merino Chem+ surfaces pass criteria for SEFA 3 standards for 24 hours chemical spot test.
    • Merino Chem+ Laminates outperform other laminates and goods in the market in terms of scratch resistance and better abrasion resistance.
