Manager – Yard Operations

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation and performance of the wood yard operation in shift. Demonstrated technical understanding of conveyors and wood handling, along with demonstrated operational experience with heavy equipment (i.e.: cranes, dozers, skid steers, etc.) strongly preferred .
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members while promoting employee involvement and participation in problem solving and continuous improvement; actively support and promote all site initiatives including safety, environmental, quality, productivity and cost management;

Qualification

• Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and 8-12 years of experience in an Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing environment, preferably in the Pulp and Paper or similar Industry. Graduate with higher experience also can be evaluated
