MR Board is manufactured considering the requirement of furniture manufacturers & carpenters for making furniture, wardrobes, almirahs, etc., which are not in direct contact with water.
Timber: Radiate pine, imported from New Zealand, is treated with BIS specified preservative used for stile and battens of block board, which is termite and borer free and so boards are most durable.
Dimensional Stability: Stile and battens is dryer dried in dryer dying chamber to a moisture content of 8-10%. Veneers are dried in a mechanical dryer to the required % moisture content. The above process results in boards being dimensionally stable with no warpage.
Durability: Bonded with U.F resin and fortified with melamine as per IS: 848. The merino MR grade block board is the most durable and passes all tests as required by IS: 1659
