Merino Chem Laminates
Merino Lab Grade Chemical Resistant Laminate is intended for application to Horizontal and vertical surfaces where design, appearance, quality, durability and resistance to relatively strong chemicals like acids, alkalis, corrosive salts and other staining substances are required.
Specific application in horizontal surface includes sinks, counters, lab benches and different work surfaces in Chemical, scientific, pathogenic laboratories, clinics, photographic laboratories, nursing stations and other institutional uses. Vertical surface includes cabinets, casework fronts, wall panels. It is ideal for nurses' stations, physicians' and dentists' examination and treatment room.
A very special resin formulation is applied over decorative surface paper to achieve high degree of chemical resistances. The decorative paper is impregnated and then several coating been done on the dˇcor surface to make the surface free from any porosity and then hardened by curing of the resin, when assembled with several layers of phenolic resin treated kraft paper and pressed under 90Kg/sq cm specific pressure and at about 150*C temp for about 30 to 40 mint.
