ENVIRONMENT

We have adopted a pro environment stance and seek to adhere to eco-conservationist standards. We regularly obtain Green certifications for our products.

In keeping with our commitment to the environment and our core principles of Economy, Excellence and Ethics, we undertake the following environment friendly practices at our Hapur factory :

	FO/Diesel generators have been replaced with the eco-friendly Agro waste fuelled turbines for power generation.
	500 trees are planted in neighbouring regions every year.
	A 'Green Belt' has been developed inside the factory by planting shrubs, flowers, grass & trees.
	Waste in all processes has been reduced to a minimum through an Environment Management Programme.
	Chemical Fertilizers have been replaced by wormi-compost made from potato peels.
	The cyclone system is used to separate dust particles from outgoing fuel gases in the boiler and thereby reduce discharge of dust particles going through the filter into the atmosphere to 50 ppm.
